  • Don't wear shoes on the carpet. The last thing you want to do is track in outside dirt. Leave dirty shoes at the door. If this isn't an option, utilize a heavy duty door mat and make sure feet are thoroughly wiped before entering  your home.
  • To keep dirt from building up and your carpet from looking dingy, vacuum every day or every other day. If this isn't practical, go for once a week.
  • If something spills, spot clean it immediately. The longer you leave a stain, the better its chance of becoming a permanent addition to your room.
  • Never rub  at a stain because this will only cause it to spread. It will also weaken the fiber helping it to wear out quicker. Better to blot.
  • Every six months or so, give your carpets a good steam cleaning. This will help it to look fresh and remove anything ground in.
  • If you'll be employing the use of a chemical spot cleaner, test in a hidden area such as in a closet or under furniture, first.
  • Have stain protection applied to your carpets once a year. This will ensure your carpets stay cleaner and brighter longer.

Cleaning the carpets in your home is important for several reasons. First and most important is health, while regular and proper vacuuming is and efective tool at removing much of the dirt in your carpets it is not complete. In fact I bet that if you vacuum a room thouroghly, emptied the canister, then vacuumed again you would be surprised at just how much more you vacuum up. Then there is the clingy, greasy, grippy soils that have a death grip on

the carpet fibers that no amount of vacuum is going to remove. This is where steam extraction is required. The force of pre-spray, high heat, high pressure and strong suction breaks the grip of the filth and sucks it out of your home and into our holding tanks waiting to be properly disposed of. Leaving your carpets clean and fluffy.
